Mosaic (Star Trek)
edit... the novel Mosaic by Jeri Taylor was one of two novels to be considered canon in the Star Trek universe?

- Why were considered? Was? Is this no longer considered canon? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:37, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
- There's no current guidance as to what and what isn't considered canon. Older versions of the official website had a canon guide (which is used as a reference) but the current version has the guide completely removed so there's no way of saying whether it is or isn't at present. - "Was" is a bit strong for that situation. "As of (year), it is one of two novels to have been considered canon" may work better. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 16:32, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

- So now for the hook: does ALT1: "... the novel Mosaic by Jeri Taylor is one of two novels to have been considered canon in the Star Trek universe?" work for you? Doesn't imply as strongly that the book is no longer considered canon. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:22, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- Article is new enough and long enough. Interesting hook fact is cited in article. AGF on offline refs, online refs have no issues. No image in hook. Good to go. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 10:33, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
