Les Joslin (author)
edit- ... that in 1995, Les Joslin (pictired) wrote a book detailing the history and architecture of United States Forest Service ranger stations through the Western United States?
Source: A Bend Bulletin article dated 4 July 2009 says: "In 1995, Les Joslin, a retired wilderness ranger, published, Uncle Sam's Cabins: A Visitor's guide to Historic U.S. Forest Service Stations, an up-close look at historic U.S. Forest Service ranger stations across the West." Hook fact is in the article's "Author" section, middle of second paragraph.
