Gladeon M. Barnes
edit- ... that Major General Gladeon M. Barnes oversaw the development of the M26 Pershing tank and ENIAC computer?
Created by Hawkeye7 (talk). Self-nominated at 12:22, 2 November 2015 (UTC).
- The article is new enough, large enough, neutral, cited properly, and doesn't appear to have any copyright violations (although most of it is cited to offline sources). The hook is short enough and neutral, however isn't supported in the article. The Pershing is mentioned in the lead, but doesn't have a citation. If I had to guess, Hawkeye7 forgot to put in a paragraph that he planned on writing, since the Pershing is not mentioned at all outside of the lead. In the meantime, the hook would work as is if the nominator replaced M26 Pershing with M4 Sherman. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 04:28, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- It's supported by footnote 12. The T25 and T26 are early models of the Pershing. Hawkeye7 (talk) 06:06, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- Oh. Would you be amenable to adding that in, such as by saying something along the lines of
"The T23, T25, and T26 models were all early versions of what would become the M26 Pershing."
? I think that the article would benefit from that being made clearer. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 06:41, 8 November 2015 (UTC)- With that, I have no problem with the hook. Everything from the initial review is still fine. I didn't mention it in the initial review, but the QPQ requirement is also met. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 15:07, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
