David Denson
edit... that in August 2015, David Denson became the first active Minor League Baseball player to publicly come out as gay?
- ALT1:... that in August 2015, David Denson became the first active baseball player affiliated with a Major League Baseball organization to publicly come out as gay?
- Reviewed:
IOUTemplate:Did you know nominations/The Show Must Go On (2010 film) - Comment: To be clear, Denson isn't the first openly gay baseball player. He's the first one who is signed to one of the organizations in Major League Baseball. The term "Minor League Baseball" does refer just to the affiliated leagues. Just want to be clear with the hook, so let me know if either of those make sense.

- Comment I'm striking the main hook, as it is too restrictive. It might incorrectly imply that there have been Major League Baseball players that have come out.—Bagumba (talk) 18:34, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- Make it clear that a reviewer is needed (I only commented).—Bagumba (talk) 07:03, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
- Approving hook ALT1 as per the two sources (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and New York Times) cited in article. No other issues found: close paraphrasing does not appear to be a concern, no neutrality issues, expanded within 10 days at time of nomination. We are OK here.
