Cannon Coaster edit

Cannon Coaster
Cannon Coaster
  • ... that Coney Island's Cannon Coaster (pictured) was designed to shoot its riders out of a giant cannon over a gap in the tracks? "The Cannon Coaster used a Cannon Facade as part of the lift hill. At the crest of the hill the car ran through the breech of the cannon and then out the end. At the end of the cannon there was intended to be a gap in the tracks giving riders the feeling of being shot out of the cannon." RCDB

  • Interesting topic! New and long enough, within policy, spot checks reveal no copyvios, QPQ done, hook fact checks out, image is PD. Good to go. John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 22:06, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
