Battle of Prairie Grove

  • ... that after the Battle of Prairie Grove, the bodies of dead soldiers had to be protected in homemade enclosures to prevent feral hogs from eating them?Source 37 in the text
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)
  • Comment: Can try to come up with additional hooks, but this is one of the more particularly interesting things about this battle.

  • Hi Hog Farm, review follows: article promoted to GA on 2 April; article is of good length and well written; article is cited inline throughout to reliable sources; sourcing is largely based on one source (Shea), but looks reliable enough; sourcing is almost entirely offline, AGF on any close paraphrasing from this source, there is none from the online sources; hook is interesting and mentioned in the article, AGF on sourcing to offline source; user is exempt from QPQ requirements due to having no previous DYK credits. Looks good to me - Dumelow (talk) 07:51, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
