- Hi. Thanks for the nomination and the improvements to the article. I did briefly consider nominating this for DYK and these are the hooks I was considering if anyone's interested:
- ALT2:... that Meghan Trainor's song "All About That Bass" was written in 40 minutes? Source: Rolling Stone [3]
ALT3:... that "All About That Bass" made Meghan Trainor "the poster girl for the larger woman" according to The Guardian's Caroline Sullivan?Source: The Guardian [4]
- My problem with the main hook is that All About That Bass didn’t really break any streaming record, since it’s success was gradual and resembled a sleeper hit. Cheers!—NØ 08:19, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
I guess the record it broke was charting based on streams (in the UK at least). “Congratulations to Meghan Trainor, who scores an historic first in the Official Singles Chart with her single All About That Bass. @MaranoFan: @Trillfendi: This looks mostly good to go, (new Good article, only pings on Earwigs are from cited quotes, no close-paraphrasing, hooks are neutral and are short enough for DYK), it just needs a QPQ from the nominator and sources for ALT2 and ALT3. I personally think ALT2 is the most interesting, pending confirmation of source.
