Hello MaranoFan, I'm in need of your help. Please see this discussion, I'll be on the lookout for your response. dxneo (talk) 16:40, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'll have to look at that over the weekend. Sorry for the delay!--NØ 03:22, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
MaranoFan, I've been patiently waiting sir, and I thank you for accepting my invitation to WP:WKND. Talking about WikiProjects, I have stumbled into a little a problem, I'm having a hard time creating an "/Assessment" page/template. I have referred to a couple of WikiProjects and they are formatted differently. However, WP:WikiProject Adele seems a little less difficult because it seems like a bot was used to assess the pages but it's still a little tricky. So do you have any pointers on how to get around it? Please do teach. dxneo (talk) 01:47, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Dxneo: Sorry for keeping you waiting! To answer your earlier questions,
  1. I wanted to ask if it was possible for a remix to have a standalone article? I have seen a lot of remixes that did extremely well in the charts, certifications, awards and obviously have news coverage so I was just wondering since I never came across one.
While probably possible, it is extremely unlikely that a remix warrants a separate article from the original song. The promotional efforts, lyrical and composition details, and even chart positions for these versions usually overlap, negating the need or possibility of separate articles. Talk:Levitating (song) has the latest discussion regarding this, which concluded the song's two notable versions were better off covered in one combined article.
  1. How does one go about creating a WikiProject page for an artist, do I keep it in my user/draft til it's complete or not because if it was an article I could probably create a stub, so how does it work?
You can pretty much create a WikiProject page right away, copying around the syntax from other WikiProject pages. Although proposing it at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council and advertising the idea on talk pages related to the subject can be useful to help recruit members.
  1. What are the requirements for creating a album discography article?
Singles and albums discography articles are only split when an artist has had an extremely high amount of output. Think Drake or Rihanna. I don't think the Weeknd qualifies yet.
As for filling in the different WikiProject subpages, it is a complex task. You can follow along my contributions while setting up the Olivia Rodrigo wikiproject and substitute her name with The Weeknd wherever necessary. I hope this is helpful!--NØ 02:08, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
