I've made edits to the page and wanted to let people know that I'm affiliated with Women in Film. Any help with conflict of interests and in general making this page the best possible is much appreciated! G-Long42 (talk) 02:08, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
PR Fluff
editI'v excised more of the PR fluff but the article could probably still use a good scrubbing. --NeilN talk to me 18:44, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Notability
editSince I have a COI, but have been asked to defend the notability of the awards page (which given, that i did not create but only edited the page and it has been listed in numerous of the recipients bios here on Wikipedia, and the fact that it is supported by WikiProject Film and the Film Awards Task Force ) here are some links to sources for notability and verifiability.

Hopefully that is enough to be considered notable.G-Long42 (talk) 09:51, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
The 2011 Crystal + Lucy awards were last night - here is an article for notability. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=137240535 G-Long42 (talk) 20:54, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ghen, I added the NPR story to the lead. Thank you for following procedure. If you like, you can edit the article just to add the winners in the appropriate sections, following the existing style for such entries. If anyone criticizes you for editing the article, you can tell them it's all my fault. :-) You might include in your edit summary "See Talk". I haven't had an opportunity to look at the notability links you've cited above, but they may be helpful for the future.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:09, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
