Japanese Big Brother edit

Re: Japanese Big Brother. WR did not appear on such a programme, this is false. I have removed it. Sah10406 22:54, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Math edit

Math: "Richard lives with John Burns, her partner of 44 years and 20 years her junior." If that is the case, and since she is 65 today, then they've met when he was 1. Interesting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.87.170.71 (talk) 12:48, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It would also mean she was married 3 times before she was 21, I think it means he is 44 years old, I agree it is very badly worded and will also become out of date if it isn't already. I don't know anything about her partner so I don't want to change it as it may not be correct. BigTurnip (talk) 18:59, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cancer edit

Years ago, she had breast cancer, from which she recovered - or at least it seemed she recovered. The media reports state that she now has cancer in both a kidney and bones. Is it kidney cancer metastasised to bones, or breast cancer again, metastasised to both kidney and bones, or does it originate in another organ? It is an important distinction; it makes a significant difference to prognosis; Wikipedia has categories for deaths from and survival from cancers by location of the parent organ. It is also unclear whether or not she is terminal. Media reports state she is "dying", but there are quotes from her to the effect that she hopes to survive/recover; that the chemotherapy which she is soon to undergo should destroy the cancer. Is there actually a possibility that she will ever become cancer-free, or is she in denial, and just kidding herself that she has a chance of surviving? In her interview with OK! magazine, she stated that the media reports that she is terminal are untrue, and that her doctors have never told her that she is terminal. Werdnawerdna (talk) 07:36, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Age edit

According to the BBC, she's just died aged 68, so either that's wrong or her DOB here is. Chris (talk) 13:13, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

This BBC article states 65, so I guess it was their inconsistency. Cycle~ (talk) 14:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Photo edit

Can someone please find a suitable free photo for the profile. Due her death it is an important tribute to have a complete full profile of the actress. Thanks

Hows about this photo: http://www.virginmedia.com/microsites/tvradio/slideshow/tvbitches/img_1.jpg Shows her not too old or not too young... Just say yay, or nay. --Dazai (talk) 19:41, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, this photo would not pass our fair-use policy – it's most likely subject to copyright, and their is potential for a non-free replacement (see Wikipedia:Fair use#Images 2 and Wikipedia:Image use policy). Thanks for the suggestion though! Cycle~ (talk) 19:50, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kudos to finding a free photo suitable for use in the article! And it's a great photo, too! So sad she passed away, but just think of the wonderful work she's left behind for us to enjoy! --Ericdn (talk) 01:30, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Conservative edit

The personal life section states she was a supporter of Margaret Thatcher; was Richard a member of the Conservative Party? If so, during which years? Nietzsche 2 (talk) 15:02, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Surname edit

Does anyone know why she used the surname Richard? Nietzsche 2 (talk) 20:40, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

She considered it to be neat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.160.164 (talk) 13:16, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

It is the same as that of a well known Anglo-Indian singer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.148.96.196 (talk) 14:06, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nearly Fab edit

I think you'll find Wendy Richards nearly made it into A Hard Day's Night, not Help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.176.143.167 (talk) 03:48, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since we're spotting errors, her surname was Richard, not Richards. -- JackofOz (talk) 01:54, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Funeral edit

Was she buried or cremated? Where was she buried / cremated? Nietzsche 2 (talk) 06:50, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
