Washington Street (MBTA Green Line station)Washington Street (MBTA station) – Currently, Washington Street (MBTA station) holds a disambiguation page listing 2 entries - this one and a station now known by a different name, Downtown Crossing (MBTA station). I think that, since the second one isn't actually refered to as "Washington Street" now, we should move this article there and add a hatnote for the Downtown Crossing station. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 12:17, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Support Hatnote added preemptively. 65.94.77.11 (talk) 14:25, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Support with hatnote. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 23:15, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Support, but where is the evidence of the name "Washington Street" for Downtown Crossing station? All I see is "Washington." ----DanTD (talk) 01:47, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • Unfortunately, the original user who made this connection (SPUI), hasn't been active since 2007. The user who later changed a {{prod}}ed article about the Green Line station into a disambiguation page, NE2, isn't very active. I made the comment about the hatnote on the assumption that the ambiguation does exist. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 17:26, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per above. I also don't know if Downtown Crossing was ever called Washington Street; all the old maps I've seen just call it "Washington" or "Winter and Summer" on some of the older ones. Nonetheless, a hatnote seems appropriate. Washington (MBTA station), which currently redirects to the Washington Street disambiguation page, should probably become a disambiguation page. • Considering the level of disambiguation we allow, I'm not sure that one here would be inappropriate. For example, Harvard Avenue (MBTA station) on the B Line has a hatnote link to Harvard (MBTA station) on the Red Line, even though the latter isn't on Harvard Avenue (In fact, Harvard Avenue is nowhere near it). עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 05:39, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
      • Perhaps in this case such a disambiguation might be a good idea, despite the fact that the Green Line B Branch station has the word "Avenue" in it's name that the Red Line station lacks. Don't forget, I tried to disambiguate two Metra Electric stations with the same names and similar sounding names by adding "Metra Electric" in the parentheses, rather than simply "Metra." Harvey (Metra) sounds too much like Harvard (Metra), and 107th Street (Metra)'s name is too close to 107th Street – Beverly Hills (Metra). I still support the move for Washington Street on the Green Line, but a little leniency on some dab's wouldn't hurt. ----DanTD (talk) 02:42, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
