TV series

edit

I just saw where A&E has ordered 18 more episodes. Are we really going to leave the series info here? — Wyliepedia 01:55, 11 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The TV series is more notable than the restaurant, if you're suggesting a split, then the restaurant moves away to a different location, not the TV show. Further, the edits to this article mostly concern the TV series, so the edit history needs to be attached to the TV article. I'm not sure the restaurant would survive GNG, so will get deleted, leaving just the TV show as the only topic. I really don't see the point in that, since the TV show needs to have some coverage of the restaurant. We can reshuffle the information so that the restaurant section is at the end, if you prefer, and move the TV infobox to the top instead of the restaurant's. -- 70.24.250.235 (talk) 10:24, 6 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Chain?

edit

There is only one location and only "plans" with no timeline attached to open another in Toronto. Regardless of what was aired on the show there is only one. One does not make a chain. 108.172.113.96 (talk) 03:18, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Missing Episodes/Season?

edit

Earlier in 2016, there were episodes that aired back to back, including the making of a music video with Johnny Drama. None of those episodes are listed here as part of a season, instead skipping immediately to the July 6th episode. 73.143.241.32 (talk) 02:19, 8 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Because that's where A&E's show website also starts the sixth season. — Wyliepedia 05:00, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
You might also be thinking of the fifth season premiere, "Directing Drama". — Wyliepedia 01:50, 21 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

TV Show / Restaurant Split

edit

Looks like this was previously discussed, but bringing up again as the the restaurant now has a few different locations. I think it would make sense at this point to split the pages for the restaurant and the tv show. Thoughts? Radioman~enwiki (talk) 21:31, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

As stated above: I'm not sure the restaurant would survive GNG, so will get deleted, leaving just the TV show as the only topic. Unless dedicated editors can create and expand a notable article on the restaurant chain, outside of a city listing, I say no to the split. This also avoids having to re-add the information here, when a franchise list could simply be added. — Wyliepedia 11:10, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Locations in factbox

edit

Fact box says there are 31 locations in North America and two in Canada. Um...? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.2.216.155 (talk) 00:30, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unexplained primary topic change

edit

This article Wahlburgers (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) was a TV series article, until an unexplained topic change in 2018 [1] by a single edit user, that did the same thing a reverted change did earlier that same year [2] by what looked like a connected contributor. This leaves the majority of the edit history of the TV show content at the wrong article, this one, instead of Wahlburgers (TV series) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), and the "primary topicness" was changed without any discussion. There is a large amount of TV show talk at this talk page, clearly showing what the actual topic of this article was. When the TV show was later split off it should have been the restaurant that was split off instead. -- 65.92.244.151 (talk) 65.92.244.151 (talk) 02:55, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
