Merge from Compagnie Gabriel Voisin edit

During most of its life, Voisin aircraft production was done under the name Aeroplanes G. Voisin (from 1912 to 1918). This period covers the vast majority of the significant production of the company and the entirety of that covered by Compagnie Gabriel Voisin. Josh (talk) 00:33, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good to me, I'll merge them now. - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 17:35, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources needed to establish the true names edit

Which of these were true official names of this firm through its history? Which were unofficial but commonly used to refer to it? What should be the title of this article, having in mind WP:COMMONNAME?

Please help. --Kubanczyk (talk) 19:35, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Done OK, I've researched the matter further. Since no discussion and no input here, I'll go ahead boldly and make appropriate changes to the article. --Kubanczyk (talk) 08:56, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Name edit

I suggest moving this to Voisin (company) or Voisin (aircraft manufacturer). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 18:56, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not Voisin (company) because of the car company, Avions Voisin.TheLongTone (talk) 22:49, 24 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

– I don't see this as a good primary topic, it gets about 3x less views than Avions Voisin. (Sorry, having a hard time linking the graph.) There are also quite a few people named Voisin at the dab page. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 16:34, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
