The jazz-band in Mikhail Bulgakov's novel The Master and Margarita, where the conductor wearing red evening coat hits with percussions the jazz-band members on their heads...this conductor must certainly be Parnakh - this is an archetypal sample of original research. --Ghirla | talk 12:52, 20 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

His mother died when he was very young... or is this original research? edit

According to this, his sister Sophia's mother died when Sophia was six years old. Sophia would have been six between August 11 1891 and August 11 1892. Valentin Parnakh was born on July 26 1891. So Valentin and Sophie must have had the same mother, who would have died when Valentin was less than or just barely one year old (and his father remarried shortly after). This would seem to be a worthwhile fact to include.

I don't know whether this is original research, or just simple mathematical deduction. I think it's the latter, and I'm including it. Of course it all depends on whether glbtq.com is a reliable source, which I'm assuming it is. Herostratus (talk) 16:03, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
