Good enough to an article edit

BD2412 I believe this draft is good enough to go.--SirEdimon Dimmi!!! 04:31, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • BlameRuiner was the one who PRODed it from mainspace, I'd like their opinion. BD2412 T 04:36, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • I still think it's too soon and that GNG isn't met. Most of the media coverage here only exists because of celebrity status of her dad. Let her make a senior debut, shall we? If she's that good, it will happen real soon.--BlameRuiner (talk) 06:42, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
      • I agree GNG is not yet met - although The Athletic piece is substantial and pre-dates the recent 'daughter of Dennis Rodman signs for Washington Spirit' news pieces... GiantSnowman 09:20, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
        • Just adding my opinion that I agree the article doesn't yet meet WP:GNG. —FORMALDUDE(talk) 03:29, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Consensus discussion: Heading and opening line of first section edit

@BlameRuiner:@GiantSnowman:@FormalDude:@Mike d Rock:@Hmlarson:@Seany91:@BD2412:@Kacamata:

The opening line of the first section of the article body should be expositional in nature, and give the subject's full name, just as any biography would do. Subsequent references to the subject after this can simply refer to her by her surname, per WP:SURNAME.

As for the heading the standard heading used in this type of article is "Early life", because this section gives information pertinent to that period in the subject's life, including birth info, parentage, siblings, siblings, early schooling, etc. It is further down in the article where there is usually a section called "Personal life" which deals with the subject's personal relationships, hobbies, places of residence, religious beliefs (in particular those not which they were not raised with, which goes in Early life), political beliefs, and their death (except in cases where Death is given its own section).

Saying "Early and personal life" is redundant, as it implies a distinction between the two that isn't present. A subject's birth, upbringing, parentage, schooling, etc., IS their "personal life". If GiantSnowman, who insists on this longer heading name, sees a distinction between these two things, then I would ask: Which pieces of information in that section pertain to her her "early" life that are not a part of her personal life? • Early life and full name, per above. Nightscream (talk) 18:29, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
    I have amended as a compromise. Hopefully this is satisfactory. GiantSnowman 18:39, 8 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

height edit

changed the height according to her teams page, as they measure their players, and can easily dispute it by changing the value on their site. --ThurnerRupert (talk) 15:48, 7 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
