I removed this text below since it is unclear and it is refering to matters of opinion:

Many find that tie-in novels are of lesser quality than the original, however this is not always the case.

Often the reverse occurs, such as a tie-in movie to a book, and so on.

Proposed merger

edit

I've proposed that Movie tie-in (book) be mergered into this article. See Talk:Movie tie-in (book). --Evb-wiki (talk) 14:06, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't see how anyone could disagree, so I've complete the merger along with the Movie tie-in (video game) article I wrote some time back. Thanks, Marasmusine (talk) 16:18, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sources

edit

I might use this Your Sinclair article for use in the video-games section. Marasmusine (talk) 15:20, 29 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

History

edit

This article is just a description of what tie-in books are, there's no history of the genre - how it started and early examples of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.74.151.135 (talk) 13:56, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
