Change title to Thieft (2014 video game)

edit

Does someone know how to change the title? It would be much more useful to distinguish it from others in the series and disambiguation page — Preceding unsigned comment added by 177.98.10.145 (talk) 18:59, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Almost all articles in the refs are missing actual dates

edit

They only have the worthless "Retrieved" dates. --Niemti (talk) 20:33, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

So fix it? Яehevkor 22:14, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stealth, not a FPS

edit

Well, go right ahead. --Soetermans. T / C 15:31, 11 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

You're the one who removed it, the burden is on you, but I'll explain it for you anyway. The game is in "first person perspective", and since there is no first person stealth category, you use both to describe it's genre. It is not required that guns are involved, any ranged weapon can be used to describe it.--Sxerks (talk) 17:55, 11 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
No, it isn't. "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a reliable source that directly supports the material". I removed it, you restored it. I'm still asking for a valid source, and not your own conclusions.
Thief might be played from a first-person perspective (you can link to First-person (video games) in the article body if necessary), Garrett might shoot some arrows now and then, but isn't part of its core gameplay, and shooting "any ranged weapon" from a first-person view doesn't make it a first-person shooter. Dishonored, heavily influenced by the Thief series, is played from a first-person perspective also, and not a shooter. Even the Hitman series can be played as first-person shooters if desired, but still, not its core gameplay.
But don't let my own visions on games be of any influence here. If you can spot an article by, I don't know, IGN, GameSpot, Polygon, that actually calls it a first-person shooter, go right ahead and add it as a genre. --Soetermans. T / C 19:28, 11 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Carrott?

edit

Browsing the article to get some factoids, and noticed someone had changed 9 occurances of the name "Garrett" with "Carrott" and no one had changed them. The sources at the bottom of the page were even marked as broken links in one or two cases because within the link someone changed the name to "Carrott." Anyone know why? 199.182.188.162 (talk) 14:42, 24 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Plot or Synopsis

edit

The plot section should be renamed synopsis as it's not a true presentation of the plot itself - or be severely expanded upon. 99.46.209.18 (talk) 22:56, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mantle

edit

How come the article does not mention, that Thief supports Mantle? Or TrueAudio? User:ScotXWt@lk 07:24, 28 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
