On fixing the article for dead links and copy-pasting... (OLD DOCUMENTATION)

I sort of took it upon myself to fix this page up, so I've been doing a lot of work on it lately. I bumped into some obstacles, though:

• Whoever wrote this article seems to have gotten most of his/her information from a temporary promo site that moved
• I found the content in the Plot section almost verbatim to another (official) site, leading me to believe the author unwittingly committed WP:COPYPASTE
  • One of the citations given, http://thesleepingsoul.com/intro.cfm, doesn't match WayBack Machine's content (to be fair, it probably existed at some point, before the WayBack Machine's capture)

I realize this isn't the most popular article out there, so I don't expect many aficionados to be thrilled at my edits; but I thought I'd try to fix it up anyway, and put these notes here for any curious editors or admins that pass by.

Trying to cite this article with reliable sources (OLD DOCUMENTATION)

This movie is a short indie film with a tiny budget and no media attention. It has all but disappeared from movie-watchers' memories except for the indie-horror enthusiasts who have written reviews in their blog, or from the archives of film festivals.

Why keep this page and not delete it? I think it makes an encyclopedia stronger to have brief overviews on movies rather than having people guessing about them (WP:BUILD).

However, it is pretty much "dead" for candidacy of "Finding reliable sources". In more detail:

• Pictures I couldn't find free images anywhere, even the poster seems to be copyrighted. Fair use might be the way to go...
• IMDb The Internet Movie Database has the most information on the film. I had used it as the backbone of the article, to fix all those dead links and find its budget, for example. Then I saw WP:RS/IMDB discouraging its use...
• Plot I currently have no plot. Cast, crew, and reviews are useless without knowing what they're referring to. IMDb, Amazon, and the official website give very limited synopses. WP:Reliability says use good sources, so I would be bending the rules to include fans' rather-detailed plot outlines. Not bending the rules sucks because it doesn't say, for example, what the "hallucinations" or "paranormal" things she's experienced are! WP:BOLD looks like the way to go.

Did a lot of work Gnoming this.

• Got reliable sources
• Got an overkill-sized load of reviews
• Inserted background info
• Cleaned it up for copyediting, grammar, etc.
• Gave appropriate external links
• Extended article
• Removed copy/paste material
• Uploaded a pic
• Even put in a redlink-type request for Shawn Burkett (director of this) to be created...

I'm pretty sure it's up to code and, as far as I'm concerned, WP:PERFECT. I've got tunnel vision on this, but anybody else is free to edit it, of course.
