editBackground
For the background of the article, we searched the web for any information that prompted the film to be made, like what was going on with child labor and chocolate production. Most of the information came from the NewsReview source, but there is also CorpWatch and notes from a Tulane University meeting. This is essentially background information on the problem which led to the film. Sicphilosophy (talk) 19:48, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Production
A large part of this section was completed after viewing the film so that I could get dates and locations correct. Much of this information comes from the film itself. First, I list the different locations in which footage was filmed, and how it was captured. Then I explain where the completed documentary was released. Last I listed out the complete credits as stated on the official page of the documentary. Astiffler (talk) 19:50, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Synopsis
In this section, we give an overview over the film and go into detail on the narrative of the documentary. We provide a bit of background, like Mistrati's motivation for traveling to Africa, political considerations, public opinons, and what the conditions are like for the children. All of this content comes directly from watching the film and Mistrati's interviews and investigations. This section was geared at summarizing the main points of the film, and showing the movements made by the film's director. Kjrichardso2 (talk) 19:50, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Reception
I was a part of making and contributing to this article. I put together most of this section of the article. My focus was on the reception of the film and what the audience went out and did or said about the topic. An example of this would be the many fundraisers, awareness, bans, and laws working towards preventing and eradicating the child slave labor made possible through the cocoa business. editI did not notice that this was an "Educational Assignment"! Feel free to undo my changes. I have messed around with the article quite a lot, I am afraid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Signedzzz (talk • contribs) 13:18, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
