Cleanup edit

This article was original research that a new user submitted, but I have spent about half an hour cleaning it up so that hopefully it can be used.

We might still want to add a photo or two. Clipart is fine.

Also, do any of you find that the article is now somewhat boring and just a list of facts?

Mobile Equipment - Is Research In Motion (RIM) considered a foreign equipment provider in China for mobile phones?

One billion mobile phones by 2020 edit

One billion Chinese people, or around 80 per cent of the country's population, may use cell phones by the year 2020, making China the world's No 1 market, director of the China Centre for Economic Research of Peking University, Lin Yifuthink-tank has forecast.

3rd paragraph edit

The paragraph starting "In 2005, China’s Ministry of Information Industry (MII), the most imp..." seems a little outdated in its wording. As in the "MII expects ... 2005", shouldn't this be in the past tense? Shouldn't the whole paragraph that I mention be in the past tense since it relates to 2005. I'm not sure if this paragraph should exist in the main introduction to the article. A great deal has happened in the last 3-4 yrs and this information is most certainly outdated and maybe even uninformative. Wushu 1984 19:30, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
