@Pburka: - I see you removed the prod tag. I'm willing to give the article a bit more time if you think it'd help before going to AFD, but I don't feel the two sources you added solve the notability problems. They're both from bloggy, weak sources that aren't high on the WP:RS scale, and they don't say anything significant either. In one, Strom left her job at the NYT. In the other, she talks vaguely about food stratification and doesn't really say anything interesting. There are lots of NYT personnel without Wikipedia articles who also have their food opinions published somewhere. Are there any better sources you can find that'd show notability? She's not obliged to say anything that interests you. WP:BASIC requires that she be the subject of significant coverage in independent reliable sources, which I think these references probably satisfy. It might still not be sufficient for other editors, and the article might be deleted after AFD, but it warrants a discussion. Regarding the quality of the sources, Talking Biz News is edited by the Dean of Communications at Quinnipiac University and Edible Manhattan was a widely distributed, printed magazine. pburka (talk) 15:59, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
