Should we have a seperate article on the larger political domain
editsoyo was the name of a political domain in the Kingdom of Kongo. It's ruler was in the late 17th century basically the king maker of Kongo. It also asserted its influence in Kakongo and Ngoyo to the north. John Thornton (historian) spends several pages of his ''History of West Central Africa to 1850'' talking of Soyo the activities of its rulers. I have included some summaries of these things in this article, but am thinking a seperate article would be better.John Pack Lambert (talk) 05:02, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
