DLC
editThere is mention in the article of DLC relating to Mysterion and the Good Times with Weapons episode. While I can find sources that say these were a thing once, I can't find anything that says these were actually released, does anyone know if this is the case? Additionally I could use a source that details teh end of "Titties and Dragons" to show the connection between it and the game. Darkwarriorblake (talk) 21:01, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
- Not sure on the DLC, but check IGN's or the AV Club's review for "Titties" to see if it covers what you need. Not sure what other reputable sites give South Park episode reviews, both of which are on the episode's page. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:30, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
- I looked at the reviews but unless I missed it, they state that the joke exists but don't detail it. My google fu has failed me, it isn't essential and I guess I could cite the episode instead, but I think it is of note in how they end the episode by deciding to play with the Stick, as it makes the episodes essentially a prequel to the game. Removal of the information I added about the game's engine
editI fail to see how it's just "trivia about Dungeon Siege 3". It's information about the technological base that Obsidian used for the game. There's already a severe lack of info in this article about Obsidian's contributions to the game vs. Matt and Trey's, why remove this? --Sek-2 (talk) 15:24, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- WP:SOFIXIT. If you think that we need more info about Obsidian's contributions, find some reliable sources that cover said contributions and add material with citations to the article.
- If instead you want to add information about the game engine they used,[1] first write an article about that game engine with citations that show that it is notable. --Guy Macon (talk) 15:50, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- I would assume that this section has been opened not because the user is seeking a change to be made but because their change mentioning the use of DS3's engine in this game (plus source) was rejected by Darkwarriorblake yesterday. Lordtobi (✉) 15:54, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- I imagine there is more info about Trey and Matt because they did more interviews and were pushed as the public face of the game for obvious reasons. The level of content about its development is about equal as far as I can see with the design side more towards them because they and South Park studios were heavily involved in that. As for the Dungeon Siege 3 thing, the statement added was essentially "they used the same engine they used for Dungeon Siege 3". So it's completely and utterly (if I'm being generous here) worthless and just a trivia comment on it sharing an engine with an unrelated game. Hence it being removed.
