In the article a word "tithe" is used. Actual word is sanskrit tithee (तिथी). It means day of half lunar month. In Indian calendars a month consists of two half months: waxing moon half and waning moon half month. The waxing half month culminates into a full moon. And waning ends in a new moon. So for example Hindu festival Diwali is last day of waning half month of Ashvin month in Vikram Era calendar. And तिथी is day of that half month. So in effect it is like what is in western calendar day of month. There are 12 lunar months and 24 half months. So eighth tithee (तिथी) means eighth day of the referred half month (qv). So words: "eighth tithe of the bright half of the month" should be modified to read: "eighth tithee (तिथी) of the bright half of the month".
Wikipedia needs occasionally write non-english words and there is a need to agree on an official transliteration for every non-english language that the writers feel they need to borrow from and reproduce as it is. For example, Diwali, Quran etc. These words have entered englisg language but for words like तिथी we must agree on a transliterative notation that works well for all sanskrit words which have not become part of english language. One such notation is ITRANS. In ITRANS I think तिथी would be transliterated as tithii or equivalently tithI. Einsteinwallah (talk) 22:06, 24 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

The Sharada Peeth lies in Pak-occupied-Kashmir and it is integral part of India. It is not the Azad Kashmir. The POK is clearly visible as India's part in the official map of India. SAURABHCH1995 (talk) 13:59, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
