Yuri or not yuri

I've noticed three reverts in two days, each time because someone with a dynamic IP added category:Yuri, and NocturneNoir reverted it. Constantly adding and reverting this won't solve the problem, so please take it to the talk page instead. According to WP:VER, you'll need a reliable source if you want to add controversial information to the article. Anonymous editor, if you have any reliable source (such as Anime News Network or any official Gonzo information, interviews with the mangaka, etc, but NOT blogs and the like) that states Saki is a yuri anime/manga, we can add the category. We all know it's going to happen, but until we have a reliable source for it, we can't add it yet. VDZ (talk) 16:46, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

This is the problem with Saki, though. It has so many things in it that are screamingly obvious, yet no "authoritative source" will say so because it's all part of the in-joke.PS4FA (talk) 21:31, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

saki is Yuri anime?

Well, Saki is really very famous for its yuri fanservice, to the point that it becomes a meme. But, for all time in the show, there have never been canonical couples or even just lesbian characters. So do not be surprised that many resources mistakenly rank Saki to yuri. Not to mention the fact that the anime greatly exaggerates what was in the manga, and ANN mentions yuri only as a theme, but not a genre. Just treat this as a female version of all the qeerbaiting that you see in the sports manga from Shonen Jump like Kuroko no Basket or Prince of Tennis, at least no one is trying to put a yaoi tag on them.
