Hey man, I just want to say for the edits you've done on Neon Genesis Evangelion, you RULE! -- The T
Hi, sorry if I sounded a bit bullish. There was quite a row over the Irish potato famine some months ago that produced a rather nasty edit war. When a new user visits the talk page my heart sinks at the thought that it is one of the gang of people (mostly anarchists or Irish -American republican sympathisers) who raided the page the last time and produced WWIII. (One of them started writing bizarre anarchist poetry about it, and telling Maverick149 (one of wiki's best users) off for getting involved in the debate. Another started telling me how I was a Tory, a British apologist, etc. It was a weird experience. So I am wary of visitors on that talk page in case it is the poetry-writing anarchist, who couldn't write a coherent sentence in english but lectured everyone about "brilliant prose"!!! In any case, sorry if I sounded a little heavy. Which leads me to the main message:

Nor/Or
editIn regards to this: This is an extremely minor point, borderline negligible, but I just wanted to point out that, at least according to The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition, both "not... or" and "not... nor" are considered correct when used with adjective phrases, though the former is indeed more common and natural sounding. I just figured using the word "nor" eliminates the miniscule trace of ambiguity introduced by using "or", as a really clueless reader could perhaps potentially interpret the phrase with "or" as "she is not homicidal or is sadistic". I.e. "not x nor y" clearly means "(!x) && (!y)", whereas "not x or y" could be interpreted as either "!(x || y)" or "(!x) || y". But at least in the particular example in the Elfen Lied article, the difference really isn't significant, so I'll leave it as you preferred. --164.76.162.246 6 July 2005 18:35 (UTC)

Hmmm, and I thought I was improving it by removing all the fanfic nonsense ;) PS4FA 13:53, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
"I note that you are banning editors for attempting to correct the egregious fraud known as Doonys ..." I am? I don't recall doing that. Herostratus 12:56, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ah. I didn't ban him, I blocked him for I think 15 minutes or maybe an hour at most. My apologies if I misunderstood the situation. So is Doonys a pure hoax, doesn't exist, or what? Herostratus 13:25, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Tagging of Inspector Prince
editI recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Inspector Prince. I do not think that Inspector Prince fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because "Hoax" is not a speedy delete reason. Please use {{hoax}}, {{prod}}, or sent to AFD instead. I request that you consider not re-tagging Inspector Prince for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 16:20, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Futurism
editIn an edit to this article you said that Busoni's Entwurf einer neuen Ästhetik der Tonkunst is regarded by some as the true starting point of the Futurist movement. I have added a note to this [citation needed] because I have never seen a reference to this article in anything I have read about Futurism. Can you say where this claim originates? Thanks. Beckii Cruel
editFor Beckii Cruel, why is she not notable? She's a recording artist, she's notable for being an idol in Japan, and I have several news articles to back up her accomplishments. lullabying (talk) 00:33, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Re: talk page
editI'm definitely not Beckii Cruel, nor do I know her in person, and she doesn't even know I am. We have never made contact. lullabying (talk) 03:51, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
