{{Clarify}} subject to analysis of indigenous perceptions ... edit

The sentence "The plains are also subject to analysis of indigenous perceptions of the landscape" tells the reader of the article nothing useful. I'm not suggesting it's wrong or misplaced, but it needs a little more detail. In response to the summary for the edit that removed the {{clarify}} request: the reference should allow the reader to verify the Wikipedia article contents, and gain deeper knowledge of the topic, but the Wikipedia article should stand alone; the reader should be able to make sense of the Wikipedia article without having to read the reference. Currently that is not the case. Mitch Ames (talk) 13:24, 23 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
