  • It is a remake of the 1999 Resident Evil game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - "It is a remake of the 1999 game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis" seems a little bit better. I think it is clear that Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is a Resident Evil game.
Done
  • The game is played from an over-the-shoulder, third-person perspective and requires the player to solve puzzles and defeat opponents - "opponents" seem a little bit vague.
Replaced with "a variety of monsters"
  • The game's higher emphasis on moment-to-moment action and scripted sequences also disappointed some critics. - "larger emphasis" seems a little bit better
Agreed and done.
  • Resident Evil 3 was nominated for Best Audio Design at The Game Awards 2020, but lost to The Last of Us Part II - Losing to The Last of Us doesn't sound like materials for the lead.
Removed
  • The screenshot doesn't seem to illustrate the gameplay well. May be choose a screenshot with Nemesis in it?
Done
  • The player can interact with the environment to open doors, climb up ladders, and pick up items - "interact with the environment" seems a little bit redundant. "The player can open doors, climb up ladders, and pick up items" is a little bit more straightforward.
Replaced with "The player must explore the environment to open doors, climb up ladders, and pick up items." I think it's important to keep the word "environment" because the same paragraph also talks about the game's automap feature.
  • As the player progresses throughout the game, a variety of computer-controlled opponents will try to hinder the player's progress - "opponents" is too vague. I think you need to be more specific about what sort of opponents players will face.
Replaced with monsters
  • These disable autosaves, make opponents tougher to defeat, change certain encounters, and rearrange item locations, adding more replay value to the game - If we are purely describing gameplay in this section, "adding more replay value" is redundant and not necessary.
Removed
  • By January 2020, it was estimated that 90% of the game was complete, with the remaining work to be done being final adjustments - I don't think this sentence is necessary. A game is close to completion as its release date nears. That is always true.
Removed
  • while a new trailer that focused on Jill was released on March 27, 2020 and A launch trailer was also released, reminding buyers that Resident Evil: Resistance is freely included in the package with every purchase of the game - I don't think mentioning the trailer is a good idea because that is quite trivial and they are not really key development milestones.
I have to disagree here. The trailers are part of the game's marketing campaign and they are actually not mentioned in the development section, but rather the marketing and release one. They also show how the game was marketed alongside Resident Evil: Resistance. Also, some games are released without any trailers, so I don't think mentioning them is necessarily trivial.
  • In Europe, physical copies of the game were reported to likely be delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic - Then is it really delayed in Europe? Is there any information about that?
Unfortunately, I couldn't find more information about that. My guess is that the game was certainly delayed in a few European countries, likely the first ones that were badly hit by the virus.
  • GameRevolution agreed, calling the game short yet exhilarating, but also remarked that it only exceeds the original in presentation and storytelling - "GameRevolution agreed, calling the game short yet exhilarating, and remarked that it exceeds the original in presentation and storytelling" seems slightly better.
Done
  • Critics also praised the game's determined and likeable characters - probably need to rephrase this because "the game's determined and likeable characters" is written as if they are objective fact rather than opinions.
Fixed
  • especially Jill and Carlos, who were said to look human - What does this mean? They didn't look like human before?
Replaced with believable and realistic

Overall, a solid article  . OceanHok (talk) 17:00, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the review. I fixed most of the issues you have raised and left some comments above. I will resume tomorrow as I'm quite busy today. --Niwi3 (talk) 19:51, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi again, I have now fixed all the issues, except for the one regarding the game's trailers, which I think are relevant to the article. Please let me know if there is anything else that needs to be fixed. Thanks. --Niwi3 (talk) 11:10, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
The article looks good. I will promote it to GA status. OceanHok (talk) 16:18, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
