Protons exist in "Orbitals"?

The introduction of this article implies that electrons AND protons both exist in orbitals. Electron orbitals are definitely in the scientific literature as accepted fact but PROTONS in orbitals seems a bit far fetched. Don't protons exist only within the Nucleus of an atom? I agree. If a proton transfers to another atom, it makes the atom into a new atom, as the atom is defined by how many protons and neutrons it has in the nucleus, and therefore how many electrons orbit. Say a helium atom accepts a proton and electron from a hydrogen atom, the result is a lithium atom. There needs to be clarification that it is not a proton transfer, but an atom share ie:hydrogen, sharing electrons with another atom, hence forming a MOLECULE, not another atom.
