Merge proposal edit
I am suggesting that pentadiene and pentadienyl should be merged. The two topics are obviously intertwined, not that intertwining requires merging. The main issue is that most of interesting aspects of pentadiene are related to its conversion to pentadienyl radical or anion. The merged article would begin like the current pentadiene, a straightforward listing of the isomers/rotamers of pentadiene. Then, I guess, we'd have a section on the radical chemistry (bio-related fatty acid stuff). Finally, there would be a section on pentadienyl anions. But the main point is for editors to object, agree, or comment on the merger. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:11, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
