Merger with Limnodynastes ornatus
editAs far as I can tell, the Limnodynastes ornatus article and the Ornate burrowing frog article pertain to the same species; the common names given on both articles are the same, the scientific name Limnodynastes ornatus is given on both, and the descriptions on each article appear consistent with each other. Unless someone is able to demonstrate that these articles are actually about two different species, these two articles should be merged. Neelix (talk) 21:03, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- Agree - If you see : here you will note under taxconomy in the synonymy the scientific names of both pages appear. Hence yes definitely the same species. Cheers, Faendalimas talk 00:42, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and completed the merge as a straight redirect. The former Limnodynastes ornatus stub did not have much reliably sourced new material, and so I don't believe anything from it needs incorporating.--Animalparty-- (talk) 03:41, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
