Noyan vs. Noyon
editI know that it is clarified at the top that these two terms are interchangeable, but shouldn't the body of the article be standardized to just use one of the two? Just an idea... JNeutrino (talk) 17:39, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Noyan was the name of a person
editThe information showing for the word "noyan" in Wikipedia is a decree of Mongolian commanders it is true but I believe that more than a decree it was actually a name of an elite Mongolian Commanders who was the commander of Ögedei Khan and he was the one who invaded Anatolia during the rule of seljuk empire and many more. - @Mohammed shafaullah: There were several people who were appointed as "noyan" and then referred to as "noyan" afterwards, but it was still a title. They always had other names. You may be referring to Baiju Noyan? Otherwise it could be Subutai or Baiju Noyan's predecessor Chormaqan. — MarkH21talk 17:34, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Exactly I was referring to Baiju noyan Mohammed shafaullah (talk) 17:41, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
