Source edit

This is a pior discussion as someone request.

I request source for 順化宮廷雅樂. The court in Hue never called themsefl Hue court! Therefore, there is no such a name like this.

"順化宮廷雅樂" is merely a translation for "Nhã Nhạc Cung Đình Huế" to Chinese by User:Genghiskhanviet.

I will remove it in 2 week if there is no source present. Thanks.--Amore Mio (talk) 05:50, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Secondly, Nhã Nhạc was influenced by both Champa music and Ming Dynasty court music. There is no such a solid evidence that Ming Dynasty court music has larger influence. I will fix this if no source was presented.--Amore Mio (talk) 06:15, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nhã Nhạc does not have a strong admixture of Cham music (which elements of Nhã Nhạc do you believe to be similar to Cham music?), and is in fact strongly influenced by the ritual and court music of China. Badagnani (talk) 06:40, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The early form of Nha Nhac is influenced by Cham Music, and some of its instruments was influenced by Cham instruments. Therefore, "largest influence" is very POV.
I'm sure about this because I'm studying about it right now.--Amore Mio (talk) 07:51, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please be more specific. Badagnani (talk) 07:53, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry but I don't know how to explain it properly in English. The brief history of Nha Nhac is as following:
  • Lý Dynasty -> warred with Champa -> captured some Cham Muscians, Dancers ... -> foundation of Nhã Nhạc
  • Trần Dynasty -> warred with Champa -> captured some Cham Muscians -> develop Nhã Nhạc (especially, under the reign of king Lý Thánh Tông and Lý Cao Tông)
  • Lê Dynasty -> borrowed Ming Dynasty court music -> develop Nhã Nhạc
    • Nguyễn Lords -> borrowed Lê Dynasty court music and develop their own court music.
  • Nguyễn Dynasty -> combined both Nhã Nhạc of Nguyễn Lords and Chinese "Nhã Nhạc" -> Nhã Nhạc Cung Đình Huế.
