Neutral sixth in 12-ET edit

I do not think the neutral sixth is well-defined in 12-ET, therefore it should be noted in the infobox as "N/A". --kupirijo (talk) 07:22, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

φ neutral sixth edit

There's also the φ neutral sixth, where the ratio of frequencies is the golden ratio, making the interval about 833.09 cents. This is of interest because it's arguably the most dissonant interval (theoretically, at least). I'm not going to add it to the article at the moment, as I haven't got a decent reference. A scale based on this interval is briefly mentioned at Bohlen–Pierce scale#Other unusual tunings or scales. --Zundark (talk) 12:00, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

There's now an article 833 cents scale, although it doesn't refer to the interval as a neutral sixth. --Zundark (talk) 10:11, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
