I'll give this a review. Wizardman 20:09, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
Here's what I found:
- "the rules have occasionally been ignored for the some weight divisions." for some of the weight
- Was there a reason behind changing it from the CMLL name back to the NWA when the new title was formed in 2010? That part still strikes me as a little odd, not sure if there was more information on that.
That's all I could find. Was gonna mention the double spacing on the age in the reigns section, but that seems like a template issue so nothing you can do about hat. Article on hold. Wizardman 22:19, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Wizardman: - Thank you for the feedback, I fixed the first one. As for the second comment, that is a trickier one. Basically they announced it as "CMLL World Historic Welterweight Championship" then introduced it as "NWA" instead and never made any comments on why they made the change, just hoping everyone would forget it I guess? So I believe one of the following things happened
- The press release was wrong, miscomunication, and they never meant to use the CMLL name
- Whomever ordered the championship belts got it wrong, but once they had the physical belts they decided to just go with it instead of buy another set
- They changed their minds
- Problem is that they never actually explained it and yes that is a little odd, but CMLL is well known for not explaining why they do what they do. MPJ-DK 23:12, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
