Distance to Novarupta? edit
This article says that the actual vent was at Novarupta, six miles from Mount Katmai but the Novarupta article says that it's 2.5 miles from Katmai. So, which is it? Senor Cuete (talk) 00:09, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
There is no citation for this statement and it seems unlikely given the extremely remote location and lack of visitation. Wikipedia seems to be the only online source that mentions this figure. The National Park Service does not, the Alaska Volcano Observatory does not, other scientific articles on the volcano and its neighbors do not.
