RE: What is wrong?

edit

Hello, I have not got Google Earth, so I tired Google Maps instead. When I searched "Hellisey" on Google Maps, Hellisey - Google Maps, it leaded me to the south of Iceland. However, when I tried this website (the website you showed me), it was at the north of Iceland. it is a bit weird. Perhaps the maps on the websites is not very good, not updated yet, or the article is inaccurate. Can you search 'Hellisey' (On Google Earth) instead of the coordinates and tell my the results please? The article might be inaccurate or did you type it wrong? Thank you, JoshCooler (talk) 20:03, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Broken Coords

edit

Hi. I'm working on clearing out Category:Coord template needing repair. A couple of your pages — User:Guanlongwucaii/Bayonnaise Rocks and User:Guanlongwucaii/Bird Mountain — have coords with minutes outside the allowed range of 0<=m<60. Checking the refs, I see they've got decimal-degree coords treated as degree-minute-second coords. E.g. {{coord|31|88|0|N|139|92|0|E|... should be

{{coord|31|53|N|139|55|E}}31°53′N 139°55′E / 31.883°N 139.917°E / 31.883; 139.917, or equivalently,
{{coord|31.88|N|139.92|E |format=dms}}31°53′N 139°55′E / 31.88°N 139.92°E / 31.88; 139.92.

Would you mind if I fixed these?

Template:Infobox mountain

edit

You are using {{Infobox mountain}} on your sub page User:Guanlongwucaii/Bayonnaise Rocks. Your infobox used deprecated parameter names. In the near future the template is to be updated and the old parameter names will no longer work. I updated the template for you. I hope that was OK. –droll [chat] 19:37, 20 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
