microporous tape doesn't belong here

the microporous tape section, along with the applications (that refers to microporous tape applications), don't belong to this article about micropores. First, the porous structure of the tape is only one of the characteristics of the product, being sold under that name for marketing purposes. there are thousands of products with porous structure and they deserve only a brief mention, but no such extensiona. Secondly, the porous structure of the fibers of the tape is very far from bring microporous by any of the definitions of that word in any field, as it's made of rayon fibers with gaps in the size of several hundreds of micrometers.

The information about the tape is, however, valuable so, if there are no objections, I'll wait two weeks and move the tape section to a new article , stating the "microporous" meaning in the tape article context.

The last comment is from 2017 but I completely agree, this article is for microporous materials, from a materials science point of view, the definition itself says that the pore diameter must be < 2nm, the name Microporous Tape, from 3M just means that there are pores and that they are small, it makes no sense to have them both in the same article. --Bsckr (talk) 08:34, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

These terms don't make sense in terms of size

Micro, meso and macro don't make sense. I believe theres a definition that's internationally recognised (where resolution or field of volume/view) that macro is in the mm's to Meter size, meso is mm's to 100s microns, micros is 10's micro to 1 or 0.5microns and finally nano is 250 or 100nm and below. The meso scale links to a mesopore talking about soils with mm's of pores sizes. So this just seems incorrect? Anyone else think the same? Ouetis logos (talk) 18:43, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
