I have added more references. Not sure what to do about the "original research" flag, however. All info is taken from the references given. KR777 (talk) 06:13, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

KR777, I cleaned it up a bit, but here are some stark examples (parts of which I had to remove):

2014 hencewhile lead developer Rob McConnel took over leadership of the company.

This cited a news article published in 2012, two years before the event happened.

Since Longbow Games is a developer independent of big publishing houses, its projects mainly emerged from the personal interests of its co-owners.

The source does not say this anywhere and it is possibly synthesis. It is also unclear who the "co-owners" are.

In 2017/2018 Longbow yet took another turn with the creation the puzzle adventure game Golem.

How did it "take another turn" when it, according to the foregone premise, develops whatever the co-owners want? This was also cited using a press release that I exchanged for an authored source.

Initially the company aimed to sell its titles via its own online store, but abandoned that approach later on, profering to sell via distribution platforms.

The source only says that the company has (present tense) an online store; nothing about a shift in that regard or use of external platforms.

However, funding the development of larger, more complex projects, Longbow turned to other strategies.

Unsourced/synthesis.

With its title Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar, in 2013/14 Longbow attempted Steam Early Access to gain some pre-financing and player input.

In the linked interview, McConnell only cites feedback, which had otherwise been scarce, as the driving factor for putting the game on Steam Early Access, not funding.
Additionally, I removed unreliable sources like MobyGames or duplicate sources. Regards, IceWelder [] 08:40, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
