List?

I've been thinking about this for a while, it's quite difficult to keep track of with lots of little sections and I like the change has come about finally but I have made a few tweaks to the format. Duration information is useful to distinguish the main players from bit parts since the pages for Hollyoaks are not as extensive as those for EastEnders for instance. Removal of minor characters?

I'm just wondering if we should remove minor characters from this list, keep it to permanent or long recurring roles. A few characters listed only appeared for a few episodes!RAIN the ONE (Talk) 18:50, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Yes. I think I'm probably partly responsible for that, not one of my better ideas :/... I think the policy should be that they are only included if they are a regular or have a section of their own on one of the minor character pages. So no 'other characters'. Yeah I think it's for the best. Avoids confusion of for readers. Obviously if they appeared a lot for over three months, then they should stay...RAIN the ONE (Talk) 20:19, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Past characters

Is there any reason why the "Last appeared in 2017" and the "Last appeared in 2016" lists vary in size to the other lists on the past characters list. Reason why I'm calling up on this is because the difference in size is making the list look untidy. Is there any chance of getting it to be the same size? Please get back to me ASAP.
