Remove upcoming launches

edit

I'm going to go ahead and remove all upcoming launches. I think these should be kept out of the page as they increase maintenance burden and often result in incorrect information being put into the launch history as people just copy paste from upcoming launches to completed launches. We should focus all the "upcoming launches" into the Falcon 9 list page rather than duplicating it here. Ergzay (talk) 21:35, 5 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Remove launch vehicle

edit

I've removed the launch vehicle entry from the table. I feel like this isn't really relevant to Starlink itself. What matters is the date of the launch and where it launched from. If people want booster info they can look at the "See also" page links at the bottom. If you feel really strongly, feel free to revert and explain why you think it's important to have the information duplicated in this table. Ergzay (talk) 22:55, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

My understanding is that the Group 5-1 satellites are are V1.5 but they are going into the version 2 orbits. Someone should verify this before changing the latest entry. Jnargus (talk) 22:27, 28 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Starshield Removal

edit

Current cited information is based on hearsay. Suggest removal or at a minimum, move Starshield to its own page. Starlinker (talk) 11:03, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Orbit Altitude

edit

Reviewing the documents published by Jonathan McDowell at https://planet4589.org/space/con/star/starindex.html and other pages, it seems like the Altitudes listed are incorrect. Can someone with more knowledge explain the discrepancy? RickyCourtney (talk) 00:55, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
