Occasional editor.
I did some edits early in Wikipedia's history before I created my user ID. I will try to limit myself to fixing typo's and awkward sentence structures without changing the meaning of the sentence.
I have decided that I will also change the date format in the references to the YYYY-MM-DD format. one of the two recommended formats for references, the other being D Month YYYY. "Wrong" date formats will be changed and if the majority of dates are in the YYYY-MM-DD format I will change all the dates to match. I know that is not exactly the way the Wikipedia style page specifies it but I feel YYYY-MM-DD is a better date format especially for scientific articles.
