FL

edit

Do you guys (Masamage, AnmaFinotera) feel that the article meets the FL criteria? If you do, should we nominate it? --TheLeftorium 20:51, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, not yet. First, you never do an FLC while a peer review is going on. Second, the issue of the titles should be resolved one way or another first. Third, the shorts section needs work, including summaries since it has no stand alone sublist (and doesn't need one). Fourth, of course, the lead needs a copyedit. Also, the general refs seem redundant as it appears specific refs have been added to the individual lists? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 21:17, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
OK, thanks. I will try to get it ready and find someone to copyedit it. By the way, what title issues are you referring too? --TheLeftorium 21:24, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
The issue over how to format the episode titles. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 21:30, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Do you mean the one at WT:SM? If so, I think the way we have it is the best way, but it would be nice to get everyone on the same page.
Can it become an FL even with the summaries as messy and wacked-out as they are? I guess because they're transclusions it would qualify, but I'd be embarrassed to call it our best work nevertheless. --Masamage 00:38, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
This list can become FL without the summaries, since it has none and is basically a list of lists. Now, the individual episode lists could not become FL without massive work on the summaries, leads, etc. Me, personally, I'd rather see the sublists go to FL first, then do this list to FL. If all are FL, we could then do an Episodes of Sailor Moon FT run. :-D My main concern on the title format is if someone decides to change it on one list, we'd have issues with consistency. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 00:47, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Woo FT! That would/will be so rad. :D Also, wow, I totally didn't notice that the transclusion didn't bring summaries with it. That is some fancy magic right there. --Masamage 00:59, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
*grins* You think? It's originally AnmaFinotera's design (unless she got the idea elsewhere), I just took it, generalized it to work with any episode lists, and tweaked a few things.[/bragging] —Dinoguy1000 19:18, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I got it from the TV project doing it per series :) Which reminds me...think you could try replicating this for the regular TV episode? Would be a wonderful thing to not have to make a new one for every series! :D -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 19:24, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I don't see why not, I've actually thought about doing it before... ;) —Dinoguy1000 21:35, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Here's the last diff that had the summaries for the shorts in it. -Malkinann (talk) 22:56, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

FL again

edit

So what needs to be done now? The titles seem to be stable, the lead has been rewritten, the refs are better... All I can see offhand is that we need summaries for the shorts. Is that right? --Masamage 16:39, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I added summaries for the shorts (they need to be cleaned up, though). —TheLeftorium 18:09, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Apparently, the ANN encyclopedia has been determined to be an unacceptable source, so we need to re-source a lot of information before nominating. --Malkinann (talk) 22:02, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episode Numbers

edit

Why does the R season dubbed episodes start at 53, go up to 65, then drop down to 41? I thought "The Return of Sailor Moon" takes off from where episode 40 left off ????? :/ Sptmaster (talk) 00:23, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Okay I see that the air dates didn't go in a linear fashion, but shouldn't the episode numbers just go in order to be less confusing? I think most people consider "The Return of Sailor Moon" as Episode 41. Sptmaster (talk) 00:27, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, you're right that most people do it that way. Maddeningly, those are the official episode numbers assigned by the originating TV station. They're nonsense, but what can ya do? They're official nonsense, like much of the English dub. --Masamage 05:59, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

US Air Date Sources?

edit

Hey, looking through the references on the page, I can't find a source for episode air dates. Specifically, I found it confusing episodes go from November back to October for episodes 53 - 54 in season 2. I Googled it and the Sailor Moon Dub Fandom page lists similarly oddly-ordered dates, but the dates are also different. Is there an archived TV Guide or something similar to get a definitive answer?
