Regular or Recurring?

I'm confused about who is a regular and who is recurring. Many of latest additions have really had me going. How would you work it out? Like Arlo, Tre and Helen... Arlo is a regular according to the agents, but are the other two? Are Liam, Macca and co sticking around for good? Is Kevin classed as regular or recurring?RAIN..the..ONE ^HOTLINE 15:18, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

I have the same problem. I'm not sure if Macca will be back after the other day's episode, but it seems pointless because we don't know why Brendan hated him/wanted him gone, so he must be back at some point. :S It was the same with Eileen, that's why I added a last appearance for her, because it becomes confusing, alike the section below about last appearances. On his website, Dillon says his first HO episodes air ... implies there might be more... and Kevin? That's the confusing one... calling him a regular when we really don't know if he was meant to be.RAIN..the..ONE ^HOTLINE 17:59, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Hmm...better to leave it then, incase he does return. For Kevin, we could just leave him as a regular character. He's leaving anyway, so I don't suppose it matters, but he has appeared as much as the other new students, and they are listed as regular, so I would assume he is classed as a regular. Last appearance dates

I was thinking, since a lot of recurring characters come and go, you never really know when they are going to appear last and we forget the dates... so it could be a good idea to list them as they occur and we think they are not going to be about again... (So after a long time when you though they were still in it, they were not, it can be added later... it happened with Sheila Buxton and was very confusing tracking back...)

We could just keep hidden comments on their last appearances? Otherwise we have to try and find out when they last appeared and that can take ages. For example, Martin Campbell? No idea if he will be back, but his last appearance isn't listed yet. So yeah, I think adding hidden comments would be a better idea, and if they do not appear again, we can list them as a past character. LostHavoc(talk) 15:39, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Great idea, we'll just do that then, with the hidden messages. :) With Martin, for all we know he could be killed off-screen, PM said in his first interview with DS, that he wasn't a fan of the plot..RAIN..the..ONE ^HOTLINE 17:59, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Trish Minniver - has she gone??

Does anyone know when Trish last appeared? She's listed as present recurring, but hasn't actually been seen for months. Was she only in one episode? This is why we need to start adding the final appearances in hidden comments, or we end up getting confused lol. :) LostHavoc(talk) 14:20, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

We need to find out the last time Martin, Arlo, Tre, Helen, Macca, Fern last appeared? Macca last appeared when he kissed Ste at the gay bar... Tre in his first epi right? Fern recently... I had a look through Digital Spy's episode spoilers, but the last few months the Hollyoaks episodes haven't been wrote in very much detail, so it's hard to tell from them. I think Arlo last appeared at the school dance, which was the 14th of December. Not sure if he appeared afterwards. I'll have to have a proper look tomorrow and find out about Martin, I'm sure he's been gone for about a year now. Tre only appeared the once, so I'm not sure if he even needs his own section. Kathleen-Angel McQueen - not Kathleen Khloe

I want to adress something I just shouldn't have to. All because Kathleen hired a conman vicar to christen the baby, you think she is named Kathleen Khloe. She is not. When Carmel agreed to hand the baby back, Theresa clearly said she was changing the babies name from Angel to Kathleen-Angel. She has been refered to as such multiple times in the series, so it baffles me why people are changing it. So it is just vandalism each time you change the page, because you are removing a fact and replacing it with false information.
