Regarding:

"Meatwad (voiced by Dave Willis) is a mass of compressed meat that was not approved for human consumption that has something Frylock and Shake lack: common sense."

How is this at all the case? Meatwad is constantly the victim of Shake's schemes, and thus it is likely that he has even less common sense than Shake. Additionally, Frylock certainly seems to possess common sense, as he demonstrates by frequently protecting Meatwad (keeping him from going out into traffic after Shake sent him there, etc.). Anyone have a different opinion on this? G-my 11:21, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I came here to say the exact same thing. Meatwad occasionally displays common sense, but Frylock is definitely the main source of that. Shake is the only one who seems to completely lack it at all times.

Even tv.com seems to think so: http://www.tv.com/aqua-teen-hunger-force/show/5485/summary.html

I'm changing it.

My revert was based on the user's record of Vandalism. I'm not a fan of the show, but i'm assuming his contributions weren't helpful. Feel free to replace them if they were -- febtalk 01:31, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Villains

edit

Shouldn't the Mooninites and the Plutonians have a short little description along with the link to the recurring villains like the Aqua Teens and Carl do? I figured since they are essentially the main villains of the series they deserve extra mention here, too. Also, what about Pee Pants/Cybernetic Ghost? I know they're not too significant, but they appear more than other characters on the recurring villains besides the Mooninites and the Plutonians, plus they supposedly both appear in the movie. I can understand those 2 not being mentioned here, but I think at least the Mooninites and Plutonians deserve a at least a few sentences (it also lets anyone reading this page know that they are more significant than other characters on the recurring villains page). --Jopasopa 15:45, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Carl wikipedia

edit

Shouldn't Carl have a wikipedia? I mean like if the Aqua Teens each have one shouldn't he? There's enough info to make a good wikipedia. He has his own show called Carl. User:Cowmanfilm —Preceding undated comment added 15:55, 2 January 2010 (UTC).Reply

I completely agree Carl is an essential part of the ATHF world, and makes ton of references to real worldly things. He even was the star of the first three episodes of the 6th season. Grimbear13 (talk) 16:53, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Carl deseverves a article. Sgctc 2:12, 17, Apirl 2010 —Preceding undated comment added 21:11, 17 April 2010 (UTC).Reply

Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past From the Future has no entry. It has a link that brings us back to the page. 66.131.185.99 (talk) 04:43, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Idea

edit

I think all the recurring characters should be put into the List of Minor ATHF characters in a section called Characters that appear more often. List of Aqua Teen Hunger Force characters could be redirected to the minor characters article. Therabbot (talk) 22:12, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ages of the Three Main Characters

edit

As I watch a steady stream of ATHF on Adult Swims website, I passed a clip where the three were discussing their ages. The only age I remember is Master Shake's: 39. In the scene, Frylock mentions that M. Shake is nearly aged 40. [1]

Dr. Weird and Steve

edit

I dont understand the relationship between Dr. Weird and Steve, but I have two theorys.
Theory #1: Steve is Dr. Weird's loyal son. Steve loves Dr. Weird, but the feeling mutual as Dr. Weird often kills him or at least hurts him in some way.
Theory #2: Steve works for Dr. Weird so he can have money for his wife who was metioned in Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. Also Steve wants to be Dr. Weird's friend, but Dr. Weird seems to have little (if any) feelings for Steve. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Therabbot (talkcontribs) 05:11, 15 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think Steve just works for Dr. Weird, and they just have a formal work relationship. Grapesoda22 (talk) 21:34, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Both Dr. Weird and Steve are main characters on the show's first two seasons so they're main characters. It's similar to Gibby being a main character on iCarly, because he was a main character on season 4 only. Hoppybunny (talk) 00:04, 11 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rabbot-a reccuring character

edit

The Rabbot is a reccuring character. He appears in as many episodes as Dr. Wongburger. Carlathf (talk) 13:41, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The number of appearances isn't what matters, it's the number a prominent appearances they make. sure both Dr. Wongburger & Rabbot have appeared in 3 different episodes. But every episode Wongburger appeared in, the episode revolved around him. But only 1 of the episodes the Rabbot appeared in revolved around him, the other 2 he was just a cameo; and therefore he is just a minor character. Grapesoda22 (talk) 04:57, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wongburger appears in 4 episodes: Dickesode, Creature From Plaque Lagoon, Hands On a Hamburger, and One Hundred. Carlathf (talk) 05:07, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Meatwad's Dolls

edit

I know when Meatwad's dolls are on the show they usually have a small role, but thery're in way more episodes than MC Pee Pants, the Cybernetic Ghost, and Dr. Wongburger. Carlathf (talk) 20:07, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The prominence in the story line matters more then the actual number of appearances. Grapesoda22 (talk) 20:39, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

If that's true how come Dr. Weird and Steve are in the reccuring section? They just have very, very, very small roles at the start of several episodes. I'm putting Meatwad's dolls back in the reccuring section. --Carlathf (talk) 23:11, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dr. Weird and Steve were featured in almost every single episode in Seasons 1 & 2. They both play a huge part in the movie. Without Dr.W & Steve episodes like "Rabbot", "Balloonenstein", "Escape from Leprechaupolis", "Bus of the Undead", etc. would make sense. They actually do play a big part in ATHF.

But Meatwad's Dolls don't really contribute to the story and are basically useless, they actually appear less then DW&S, and play very small parts every time they do. Grapesoda22 (talk) 23:38, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Boxy Brown had a huge role in Shake Like Me. He also gets a lot to do in a couple other episodes. Happy Time Harry and Jiggle Belly both have huge roles in Dumber Dolls. Carlathf (talk) 02:32, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

So what if 3 of the dolls played a big part in only 2 episodes. there still minor characters. Grapesoda22 (talk) 04:16, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dr. Weird and Steve had a small role in like 40 episodes. Meatwad's dolls have a slightly bigger role in about 20 episodes. I know the role in a storyline is a little more impotant than the # of appearances, but a character that usually has starring roles in a total of 4 (Dr. Wongburger) isn't as important as a character that has small roles in about 40 episodes. Missing characters

edit

After watching some episodes and looking though the episode/season list(s) I realize that there are a lot of characters who should be on the "Minor characters list" but aren't. such as...

  • Dirtfoot from "Dirtfoot"
  • Mucus Man from "Global Grilling"
  • Bart Oates from "Bart Oates"
  • The 2 white aliens from "Antenna"
  • John Kruk & the Sirens girls from "Sirens"
  • Paul from "Couples Skate"
  • the dummies from "Dummy Love"
  • The She Creature from "She Creature"
  • the giant cockroaches from "Time Machine"
  • the birds from "Eggball"
  • the Pop-Up WuWWizardduh
  • the Ghost of a Dead Baby that Meatwad meets while inside his Ouiji Atari-like game
  • the swiftly blasted George Washington reincarnated as cloned dollar bills

Just wanted to point this out to any one willing to look up the actors and write a description. Grapesoda22 (talk) 03:36, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

thumb images for recurring characters

edit

Would it be a good idea to add little thumb images next to the recurring characters? Or at least a few of them? Also I all ready added an image of the "Minor Villains" section to show many minor villains from the series, should that stay up?Grapesoda22 (talk) 04:13, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yeah. Hoppybunny (talk) 01:32, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • No, it would not be a good idea. Please read WP:NFLISTS. The use of per character images for depiction purposes is not supported. If...IF...there is secondary sourced discussion regarding the appearance of the character, then there might...might...be a reason to include a given image. Otherwise, no. --Hammersoft (talk) 17:19, 26 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I took down the individual character thumbs, in favor of multi-character thumbs for each section. Grapesoda22 (talk) 11:17, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Markula, the landlord

edit

Markula, the landlord should be in the recurring characters section. He's in as many episodes as Dr. Wongburger and he has a major role in all 4 episodes he's in. --Unclewiylie (talk) 04:05, 26 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Use of non-free images on this article

This article has been identified as containing an excessive quantity of non-free content. Per the Foundation's requirement to keep non-free media use minimal, and per Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria #3, the non-free images on this article have been removed. Please note:

  • The presence of a fair use rationale for this article on an image description page does not make it acceptable for a given use.
  • Blanket restoration of the non-free images that have been removed can and most likely will be reverted, with subsequent reporting action possible.
  • If some restoration is desired, careful consideration of exactly what non-free media to use must be made, paying special attention to WP:NFCC #1 and #8. In most cases non-free media needs to be tied directly to the prose of the article, most preferably with inline citations tying the discussion to secondary sources regarding the image per Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If this is a list type article, please read the WP:NFLISTS guideline. If you wish to dispute this removal, it may be helpful to read WP:OVERUSE, as it answers a number of typical questions and responses to removals such as this. List of Aqua Teen Hunger Force charactersList of Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1 characters – In 2011 the series title was officially changed from Aqua Teen Hunger Force to Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1. The title should be changed to reflect the series' current title. Grapesoda22 (talk) 06:44, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose The show is more recognizable as Aqua Teen Hunger Force which is also the title of the main article. It makes no sense to change it without changing the main article as well. At the most, it should be noted that show is currently titled Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1 and that certain characters have appeared on both versions of the show. NJZombie (talk) 06:53, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per above. The show is more recognizable as Aqua Teen Hunger Force. JJ98 (Talk / Contributions) 07:09, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Zucotti Manicotti?
