"Women's" vs. "Ladies'"

Wikipedia follows it's own manual of style, and is not beholden to other conventions. If we're talking about an official title, that's another matter; if we're talking in general terms about an event, we go with our own style and conventions. OhNoitsJamie ^Talk 20:39, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Not even the official site uses "Ladies" consistently. "Women" and "Men" are widely used for general purposes, while "Ladies" and "Gentleman" typically carries a more formal connotation. OhNoitsJamie ^Talk 21:18, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
