Middle name

Not sure if this has been discussed in the talk archives, and don't really feel up to delving through 18 pages of them. While it seems to be fairly uncontested her middle name at birth was Dee, I can't find any reliable source that Morgan was ever more than a briefly used stage middle name. When she was arrested in 2007 her documents still noted Dee as her middle name, again in a court brief.--Shivertimbers433 (talk) 02:26, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

Proposed merge with Lindsay Lohan discography

Does the discography page of Lindsay Lohan violate WP:subpages? Shall the subpage merge to the parent page? Why or why not? George Ho (talk) 04:19, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

WP:subpages appears to be discussing something else so it can't violate it. This just looks like a straight merge request. I would think that a merge is a good idea. She has only released two studio albums so they should fit in here easily. The introduction at the discography article is already covered here so the only items that probably need to be merged are the album and single tables. The other appearances is debatable, it is probably better covered in text as they appear to be the equivalent of cameos and a table is probably undue. AIRcorn (talk) 06:43, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
I support merging Lindsay Lohan discography into this page. The discography page isn't too long, so size shouldn't be an issue. Meatsgains (talk) 02:51, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Bot-summoned. Given that discography is relatively short, a merge seems sensible. Pincrete (talk) 17:07, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
Oppose merge - Per WP:SIZESPLIT. The bio is 131kB so obviously the discography should stay as separate. 2 albums are not too less.--MaranoFan (talk) 09:30, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Keep separate, but not because of the size of the articles. The problem I see is that the albums charted in quite a few different countries. This, along with the certifications earned, would make it difficult (or, at least, awkward) to convert all of the discography information into prose. And if moved here in tabular form, the tables would just seem out of place with the rest of the article. So, separate articles looks to me to be the better treatment. Just include her in the LGBT category already

Wikipedians have no qualms about including serial killers and child molesters in the LGBT category if they had a same-sex victim, even when there is no evidence that these criminals had at any point in their lives identified as LGBT or had consensual same-sex relationships. So why is LL not being included in the category, since she has had at least one such relationship, being therefore much more similar to the average LGBT person in lifestyle than perverted criminals, and, when asked, even said the label bisexual might apply to her? 177.133.112.204 (talk) 02:41, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Lindsay For President 2020 Issue

I noticed that in the actual post Lindsay also thanked Barack Obama for being so inspiring to her which was missing from the article.

--VGuido (talk) 17:25, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

Missing Information in terms of her relationship with Egor Tarabasov

I noticed that in her personal life section there is no information about her recent relationship and engagement with Egor Tarabasov despite the fact that it has been in the news recently and surrounded her with drama. She has now separated from him but as her first public engagement this is something important that should be added to this section.

--VGuido (talk) 17:28, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

Adding Information About Egor Tarabasov

Hi everyone, I'm a student learning Wikipedia for the first time. I thought I should let you know that there is no information about Lindsay Lohan's recent relationship with Egor Tarabasov. There is a lot of things that have happened to Lindsay since the last update that I believe might interest readers. --Kfsorbara (talk) 19:40, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

Lindsay for President

Mentioning that Lohan talked about running for president in 2020 is pointless; she will not be old enough. I removed it, but someone undid my edit on the grounds that she said it and it is sourced. So everything that someone said and is sourced can be put in? That seems like a super low bar. --ShorinBJ (talk) 11:35, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

The fact that she can't become president because of her age is irrelevant; this is not a political article. The fact that she said something like this indicates something about her personality, and that's what's notable and what you left out of your comment. Your hyperbole that "everything that someone said and is sourced can be put in" and "a super low bar" is attacking a straw man, a logical fallacy that is often used as an attempt to bolster a weak argument. No, of course we don't include everything that is sourced in the article. If she said, "I had pancakes for breakfast on Monday", we don't include that. If someone like myself says "I'm running for president", it's not included in Wikipedia because I am entirely non-notable. We include notable information, and the statement by Lohan about running for president is notable, not because she could actually be president, but because it reflects how she sees herself. Sundayclose (talk) 16:24, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
Please continue talking down to me. Would you like to next explain to me what a logical fallacy is? Oh, better explain hyperbole to me as well. --ShorinBJ (talk) 06:43, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I was reading about Lindsay Lohan and noticed that there is misinformation about her religion on here.

"As recently as February, Lindsey has revealed that she now is Muslim.[298]"

I went to check the source [298](I dont know if I can post links in here), nowhere in that article it said that she converted to Islam. I believe that it should be edited as that statement is not true and is very misleading to the WIKI visitors/readers.

Thanks! Sambsterxz (talk) 07:28, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

Where is the documentation on her personal life?

Ms. Lohan is a colorful character with an interesting history. I'm trying to determine the following, but its suspiciously absent from the article:

  • number of times arrested
  • number of times in rehab
  • number of times violated probation
  • number of times some jail time was served

Perhaps the information can be added to provide a more complete picture.

Separating career and personal life sections to create less lengthy paragraphs

Considering how long every section is, I think it might be wise to shorten the "Life and career section" by making a personal life section

The personal life section is formatted as a tabloid section magazine piece.

Is it really important to her personal life if she was once spotted studying the Quran? Especially since after the piece on her orientation the section is divided up into sentence long "factoids" about her. Family relationships should definitely be at the top of personal life section and shouldn't include barely noteworthy info that you'd find in dailymail not wikipedia. -glove- (talk) 10:03, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Personal life page

Considering how lengthy her personal trials have been publicized, it feels only appropriate to separate them the way that personal lives of other celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, etc., have been separated to avoid them being overbearing in their main article which is mainly about their career and overall life. This separation will allow a basic description of her relationships, family life, religion, legal problems, substance issues, etc., on her main page and details about this on a separate one.--Ottamieh (talk) 04:28, 29 November 2019 (UTC)

In addition to reports that "Lohan Beach House" in Mykonos had closed down along with the cancellation of the series in June 2019, it should be noted that Lohan had opened a new venture titled "Lohan Seaside" around that same time in May 2019. https://www.wmagazine.com/story/lindsay-lohan-mykonos-beach-club-mtv-reality-show-closed-canceled/ https://greece.greekreporter.com/2019/06/20/has-lindsay-lohan-abandoned-her-mykonos-beach-club/ https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/lindsay-lohan-mykonos-beach-club-moving https://www.instagram.com/lohanseaside/ https://lohanseaside.gr/ https://foursquare.com/v/lohan-seaside/5cf1a0bfaf35f300263d3160

Although no official news article can be found, it appears that "Lohan Beach House" in Mykonos did eventually re-open in June 2020 for the summer as per its official Instagram/Facebook accounts as well as posts found under the "Lohan Beach House Mykonos" location tag on Instagram. Lohan Clubs + Lily Baker Jewels

Following up on an earlier post here in regards to the information in this article about the reality show Linday Lohan's Beach Club as being cancelled as well as the property no longer being open. In addition to the information earlier provided, this information is present on the Wikipedia page for the reality show:

"As of June 2019, Lohan had decided to sell the property to cash in on the investment and the beach club in Mykonos was closed. MTV had reportedly been "trying to make something work" for a second season, but Lohan was not interested at the time.[1] The beach club was relocated to Alimos for the 2019 summer season under the name Lohan Seaside, closer to Lohan Nightclub in Athens so they could alternate seasonally, as a message on its official website informed.[2] In a statement to Newsday, Lohan said: "The show was moving into a new direction. Perhaps not enough drama in my life for [a] reality-TV formula (as that's not where I am in my life). As for the club, we are simply moving the focus to a brand-new and exciting location in Athens, and also a new location and partnership to be announced in Mykonos."[3]

Lohan Seaside was then featured on the twelfth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta with Panos Spentzos making an appearance.[4] In April 2020, Lohan was asked about the status of the series and her clubs, replying: "When we did that show it was really good to tie in with the opening of the beach, we still have two [clubs] in Athens and we've been discussing what's gonna go on in Mykonos... now is not really the time to talk about it [due to COVID-19]. But we'll see, I still do have my Lohan clubs, and I still do want to open more [...] so there's all that in discussion."[5] The Lohan Beach House Mykonos reopened for the 2020 summer season on July 1, 2020, according to its official website and social media activity, while respecting COVID-19 prevention measures.[6]

^ I believe some of this information is relevant as her business endeavors are just as important as her artistic ones and the information is not updated. Also, it has been posted that Lindsay Lohan has released a jewelry line with Lily Baker Jewels which has not been updated. I would update all this myself but for some reason all I can do is request edits...

Update 01-19-23: Lily Baker Jewels has been added. Under 'hospitality' in the Wikipedia article, I think it should still be added that the Mykonos location closed in 2019 to open the new location 'Lohan Seaside'. This lasted one summer season as Lohan Mykonos re-opened in the summer of 2020 and has remained opened in the years since. This can be seen in the references previously provided, the previews as well as by seeing the content posted in the Instagram accounts for both Lohan Beach House Mykonos and Lohan Seaside. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.161.70.37 (talk) 07:40, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

01-19-23: Additionally, she hosted a pop-up event in New York in October 2019 that relates to these businesses. This is a quote as per the cited source: "Actress-entrepreneur Lindsay Lohan, who has partnered in Greek nightclubs in Athens, Mykonos and Rhodes, hosted a pop-up Saturday in New York. Held at Elevate, a nightclub affiliated with the Playboy Club on West 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan, the LLohan Nightclub New York Edition was hosted by the 33-year-old "Mean Girls" star, originally of Cold Spring Harbor and Merrick, with music by rapper and DJ Pvnch (pronounced "punch")."
