Episodic status and misc edit

@Nyxaros and Masem: Notable sources cited have labeled the game as "not episodic". I understand the game is structured into 5 chapters (and one "bonus story") but the most defining element of episodic games is the staggered release of content.

On the DONTNOD part, we are giving the Eurogamer article with one paragraph about it too much weight and it is not extremely relevant to this game. The author is linking to the previous articles they wrote about DONTNOD, they are not claiming those to be strictly related to their suggestion. Actually, a previously Eurogamer article posted a statement from DONTNOD that does not exclude the possibility to return to the franchise someday, while implying that they are not currently working on it.

For now I will be bold and make changes according to what I just said. IgelRM (talk) 00:51, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree that we should not be calling this an episodic game as that has nearly always been when parts of a game are released over an extended schedule. True Colors is clearly not set up like that, and its clear that while there will be chapters that will act like episodes, its not episodic as we consider that.
As for the stuff about Dontnod, any general people would expect that the studio that did the first two main games would be the studio on the third main game, but they aren't involved here. Right now, we don't have a hard fact for why, but only some pieces we can report on that there were changes at Dontnod that the media suggests may be why Deck Nine was put in charge. We may learn more in the next several months, in which case we can be more accurate and trim or expand with the right details, but this I believe is wholly appropriate to explain to a causal reader who may question the absence of the studio. --Masem (t) 01:05, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Fair. On the Dontnod part, I was primarily referring to the restoring of the previous wording, not the fact of including it. (but that was done Nyxaros, so the reply-to to you was a bit unnecessary) IgelRM (talk) 05:22, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@OceanHok: FYI, it was argued above that the Dontnod section should say. The Eurogamer claim might be relevant. IgelRM (talk) 13:06, 14 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have restored the content, but remove the section header. A standalone section about the Dontnod is necessary. OceanHok (talk) 15:58, 14 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Release date edit

This was released on September 9, not 10. Jmj713 (talk) 20:12, 9 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
