  • The episode where the show finally jumped the shark IMV. Note the excessive reliance on physical and scatological humour for laughs. It just seems that it was about now that the writers finally ran out of ways to develop the characters and started resorting to the forced, plot driven, 'shock humour' that would so characterize series 10 onwards. Over series 10, The Simpsons would go from being the best thing on T.V. to one of the worst things. What a shame the owners of the series didn't have the guts to call it a day at the end of Series 9.   • Jane O'Brien and Mike Scully were talking about how girls always wanted to grow up so fast (as Scully has five daughters) and decided to do an episode it. (Scully)
  • In hindsight he feels it's dated. (Scully)
  • Jace Richdale came up with the Homer grease story, having read about people stealing grease in a magazine. (Hauge)
  • Lisa Kudrow improvised alot of the aspects of he character. (Scully)
  • Ron Hauge came up with her initial character, (Hauge) Jane O'Brien came up with he name (she named her after her best friend) (O'Brien)
  • "Dingo Junction" was based on stores such as Wet Seal. (Scully)
  • Homer's exploding eye gag got one of biggest laughs ever. Scully still uses it in college clip shows. (Scully)
