The Bailiff. Does anybody know what the complete real name of the bailiff in this show is? We actually do the caption for this series and we can't seem to find his name? Is it Denny Hee? Donahue? Thanks. His name is Hugh Dennehy!

I am not sure. I could find it for you tho. Hey, what do you mean you do the caption for this series? You work with the show or something? How could u know his name then or be able to find it out ? lol MeowAccount 07:11, 26 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hehe. Yup. We do the captions (subtitles). We can't find the bailiff's name on the Jury Duty website or the end credits of the show. We know because we "hear" his name being mentioned by Cutler. Please do find it. It'll be deeply appreciated. Thanks! User:bairuz —Preceding comment was added at 14:33, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I found it. But first can you get me a job working for the show or some show. Maybe on air. 74.7.208.114 06:23, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unlikely to happen- as mentioned in the article, it's no longer in production. Ghoti (talk) 16:14, 22 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Content dispute edit

OK, so there is a content dispute over whether and when the show was cancelled and claims that the producers has paid for airtime on other stations. This has been rumbling on as a slow motion edit war with accusations of vandalism and blocks for 3RR. Content disputes are settled by the arguing parties setting out their cases calmly, providing the necessary sources to back their claims and a consensus can be reached. They are not settled by reverting each other until someone breaks 3RR. Policy on verifiability is very clear, "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material. All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source using an inline citation." On the other hand, removal of content by an editor with a conflict of interest is going to be controversial without disclosure and explanation. Please would the involved parties engage here on article talk and cease the current revert war. Mfield (Oi!) 06:48, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proof show is still airing: http://www.knws51.com/default.asp?page=CourtShows http://www.wciu.com/schedule.php http://www.americaone.com/schedule/July_MF_1.htm http://www.fox5vegas.com/tvlistings/index.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vimon911 (talkcontribs) 15:44, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Those listings don't indicate that the episodes being shown are new episode nor does it prove that the show is still in production. I have Channel 51 (KNWS in Houston) and I can attest that most, if not all of what is shown on that station are shows that are no longer on the air (ie Judge Karen and Judge Hatchett - both listed in the KNWS link above - are no longer in production). From the looks of the schedules for those other stations, I'd say that they're all similar to KNWS and show mostly reruns, old movies, local interest/talk/cooking shows, and blocks of paid programming. Since the show was/is syndicated, proving its status is a bit difficult, but I think I may have an answer. Tv.com has no entry on the show and IMDb was a bit of a bust as they don't have any info on the show's status and their episode list leaves quite a bit to be desired. When both those sites fail me, I check Yahoo! TV as they're fairly diligent about keeping their episode guides up-to-date which, if you can't find the status for a show, is great to use to figure out if the show is still on the air. According to that site, the last episode aired on May 21, 2008. The May 21, 2008 date coupled with the August 2008 date from wacky IMDb episode list would lead me to believe the show stopped airing first-run production episodes sometime between May and August '08. My guess is the last first-run episode aired on May 21 and reruns continued airing until August, however, that's just a guess. I think stating that the show ended in '08 (no month) is what should be done and I've since edited the article to reflect that. I wouldn't normally synthesize sources like that, but as I stated above, sources regarding the status of syndicated shows are fairly hard to come by. If the show were actually still in production, I'm confident that there would be something, somewhere indicating that and I don't feel that's the case here. Pinkadelica 10:50, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
So basically, I was right all along. The show stopped airing new episodes but reruns are continuing. Thank you for that confirmation. --ChrisP2K5 (talk) 19:59, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
